Quality, beauty and affordability are exactly what these antique reproduction dolls are all about. Each one is poured in fine quality porcelain and lovingly painted, fired and assembled by Carol Hanson. 

Costume choices are available and will be made specifically for the doll that you choose.  Not all costumes can be duplicated exactly as shown on the site.  Some fabrics and color choices may vary.

Duplicates will be made as closely as possible to the pictures posted.  

Each doll, hand painted by the artist, consists of only high-quality materials. All dolls have imported glass eyes (unless appropriately painted), mohair or human hair wigs and authentic costumes for their era. Many of the fabrics used for the costumes are imported from Europe and all are natural fibers such as silk, silk taffeta, cotton, voile and batiste unless otherwise requested.

The artist resides in Medford Oregon, where she has a studio, so all the bebes are born in the Northwest!

All of the pictures in the "Portfolio of Dolls" will give you an idea that Carol can do. However, all of the available dolls are not shown.  If you have a doll in mind that you may want, it could very well be in our stock and we can E-mail you a picture. Also, the exact costume may not be reproduced in the same fabric or colors, so each costume can vary and will be made to fit your specifications. 

Adventure In Dolls accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. Layaway is accepted and the terms are 25% down with 6 months to complete the transaction. For Special Orders or something out-of-stock, 50% down is required and the balance just prior to shipping. Dolls are completed in the order in which the requests are made. Prices subject to change without notice due to supply availability and artist discrepancy. If the doll is not in stock there can be a 6-week period prior to receiving the doll. If after receiving your doll you are not satisfied, your funds, minus shipping charges will be returned upon the receipt of the doll back to the studio.
